Step 1: Choose Your Intro Package
New to Pilates?
If you're searching for beginner Pilates in Dripping Springs, you’re in the right place.
Our
New Client Special of 3 private Pilates sessions
is designed specifically for newcomers, those returning to movement, or anyone looking to build a strong foundation before entering group classes.
You’ll learn (or re-visit):
- how to safely use Pilates equipment (Reformer, Tower, Chair)
- core engagement + breath fundamentals
- alignment, strength, and balance for everyday life
- modifications tailored to your body and experience
This is the most supportive way to begin your Pilates journey — especially if you’re new, recovering from injury, or want individualized attention.
Already familiar with Pilates equipment?
If you’re familiar with Pilates equipment (like the Reformer, the Tower, and the Spine Corrector), comfortable changing springs, following cues, and flowing through class, you may enjoy our 3-class group intro — a great way to experience small-group training with expert guidance.
Our group classes go beyond the Reformer. Pilates was designed to utilize a variety of apparatus, including but not limited to the Reformer, to fully express the movements and principles of the Pilates method. At Soma Lux, we incorporate the Pilates mat & tower system, Pilates chair, and barrels (spine correctors), in addition to the Reformer, so you can experience more of the Pilates repertoire even in a group setting. Working across multiple pieces of equipment expands your mastery of different exercises and allows you to train more completely, helping build greater strength, balance, mobility, and control.
Want to talk it through?
If you’re unsure whether private sessions or groups are right for you, we’re happy to help you choose the best path. We also offer:
- semi-private duo sessions (2-on-1 training)
- virtual sessions
- in-home Pilates training

Step 2: What to Expect
You’ll receive a quick intake form so we can tailor your session to your needs.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in (no zippers); grip socks optional.
Before your session, you’ll also receive
Studio Policies
— we keep everything simple and transparent.
Step 3: Build Your Practice
Strength comes from consistency — not intensity.
We recommend
2 sessions per week
for meaningful progress, whether through private training, duos, or small group classes.
If structure helps you succeed, we can reserve a recurring weekly spot so movement becomes a rhythm — not a question mark.
Step 4: Join the Community
Beyond weekly sessions, we offer workshops, specialty series, and movement-focused events that support
longevity, learning, and connection.
Think of Soma Lux as more than a workout — as support for your body in every season of life.
